Earth, Wind & Fire Pop-up Art Show

Join us for a special weekend celebrating art, nature and place.

Earth, Wind & Fire brings together the work of four talented Nova Scotian artists; Connie Ivany, Monica Wright, Margaret Jones-Callahan, and Joanne Logan, each capturing the power and beauty of our coastal landscape through their own unique lens.

Set against the backdrop of Bowen's Brook Ocean Estates, this exhibition unfolds as the community itself takes shape with homes rising from the raw, elemental beauty of East River Point.

With sweeping ocean views and an ever-changing skyline, this space seem destined to host art that reflects the spirit of the land and sea.

Beyond the canvas, this exhibition is a gesture of gratitude to Nova Scotia’s first responders, honoring the courage and dedication that protect our communities. Together, these works invite viewers to witness nature’s vitality, reflect on human strength, and celebrate the transformative power of art.

Connie Ivany

Connie Ivany is a Nova Scotia abstract painter whose work explores the emotional connection between colour and movement. Her layered compositions evoke landscapes, memory, and the quiet power of the natural world. She has exhibited widely in group and solo shows across the province.

Joanne Logan

Her paintings are inspired by rhythms in nature and the interplay of structure and spontaneity. Based in Nova Scotia, Joanne’s work has been featured in both galleries and private collections.

Margaret Jones-Callahan

Margaret Jones-Callahan’s abstract practice reflects her fascination with texture, depth, and the shifting energy of natural elements. Using mixed media and acrylic, she creates dynamic surfaces that invite viewers into a dialogue with the work. Her art has been exhibited regionally and is held in numerous collections.
